Project Overview

As part of a bold brand activation for Del Monte Fresh, Evergreen Creative was tapped to fabricate a standout feature for their Spring Break “Beach Bash Dash” obstacle course event held on the sands of Daytona Beach, Florida.

The event spanned six days and included multiple physical challenges, all centered on playful brand engagement with college students. Our team was responsible for producing two of the course’s most memorable elements: the elevated Banana Pit Jump and the balance-based Plank Walk.

The Banana Pit served as the final station in the course. Participants leapt off a raised platform into a sea of oversized inflatable pineapples and bananas. Evergreen fabricated the jump platform and the surrounding pit, using thatch cladding and bamboo-wrapped railings to create a bold tropical visual. The structure had to be sturdy enough for repeated, high-impact use throughout the day, while still matching the carefree tone of the activation.

The Plank Walk, consisted of twin elevated paths over a shallow water pit. Each participant attempted to cross their plank while balancing a pineapple on their head, a challenge made even more engaging by the scenic beachside backdrop and the exaggerated scale of nearby inflatable fruit props.

Across all components, the goal was the same: deliver interactive experiences that were structurally sound, visually exciting, and unmistakably on-brand. The result was a vibrant, multi-zone activation that drew huge crowds and reinforced Del Monte’s fresh, fun personality in a high-energy environment.
